Rashidabad

A unique place where different institutes are working in a walled territory and under the supervision of one umbrella. Mr. Ali Mohammad Shah is the CEO of the entire project of Rashidabad Institutes. Rashidabad was conceived by a retired group of officers of the Air Force and incidentally, they were all Air Commodores and coursemates. They had an idea that we would make an education city, and will make it in a place where there is no facility. Air Commodore Shabbir had this idea, he started it in 1997. Air Commodore was known as Angel Shabbir in the Air Force. Martyred. M. M. Alam was the hero of the 1965 war, he suggested that this area be named Rashidabad. At present, this area comprises of 130 acres.

First, a school was built and today it converted into an orphanage called Aghosh. A hospital. Bilqees Mushaf Fauji Foundation Hospital was built. It is a free hospital and is fully furnished. Nowadays, It is being operated by the Army Foundation. The next project which came in Rashidabad was LRBT, a free eye hospital. In all the buildings or constructions here, not a single brick has been given by any government organization or by any NGO. 100% of the construction has been done and all the equipment that has come here belongs to Rashidabad. A barren place of more than 100 acres was purchased which was near Tando Allah Yar.

A building has been assigned for Fatmeed Foundation Rashidabad Center, which is for thalassemia patients. A building that was reserved for the blinds was named IDA RIEU School for the Visually Impaired Rashidabad Sultan Ali Campus. We built that building for them. One of the buildings has gone to Dar-us-Sukun, Rajab Ali Kulsoom Bai campus, an institution for mentally and physically retarded patients. HAK Technical Institute is a technical college, and we gave a building for the children’s hostel of this institution. A building has been assigned for TCF School which has been taken over by Citizen Foundation. One building has Topian Spirit Trust Academic Campus Rashidabad. A project of PAF Public School Lower Topa Old Boys Association. A structure has been taken from us by Sargodha Spirit Trust for SST Public School which is established and managed by Sargodha Old Boys Association. An institute, SIPD, is assigned the training of teachers of government schools for bringing modernization in schools.

Accommodation has been given here to all the staff, whether they belong to any organization. Flats, apartments, and bungalows have been built there. Rashidabad is also working on microfinancing for the betterment of poor people around the Tando Allah yar.

In Quetta, they have taken a place in Samungli that is quite near to the airport, they have named it Yunasabad. At Fort Munro, which is located on the border of Balochistan, they have taken a place there but so far only one hospital has been built there. Rashidabad in Sindh, KPK, Punjab, Balochistan, and going to install another setup in Sindh.

Rashidabad is a great place to motivate and inspire people after observing the given facilities in education, technical education, medical, shelter homes, institutes for mentally retarded persons. State-of-the-art facilities and modern systems are the recognition of Rashidabad.
