Founded in 1992, TARYAQ is a not-for-profit organization that came into existence when friends decided to join hands to collectively dedicate their time and energy to the noble cause of helping the helpless. What started as a passionate undertaking by these gentlemen has now grown into something far broader than they anticipated or envisioned.

Twenty-five years since its humble inception, Taryaq has evolved from a homegrown project into an organization with outreach all over the country – and beyond! TARYAQ’S members have a simple mission: we will help the helpless irrespective of caste, creed, geographical location, and political affiliation.

TARYAQ WELFARE ORGANIZATION has worked since 1992 (almost 30 years). It did a lot of work in disaster recovery and was ahead everywhere. Apart from that, we have two clinics. One is in Green Town and the other is in Garhi Shahu which we are looking at. In addition to this, we have small projects in Thalassemia, where we provide medicines for children. There is a housing project we are currently working on in Sindh and the southern part of Punjab where the Punjab Housing project works in flood-affected areas where TARYAQ builds many homes for homeless people.

In its program SABEEL, the WELFARE ORGANIZATION distributes monthly rations to widows, divorced, and disabled women. Three different categories cover the whole family as per the number of family members with high-quality basic necessities of food like flour, pulses, sugar, ghee, and spices. It works in ten cities across the country.

Someone who cannot earn a living can get a ration. When a son of a family reaches 15, the ration stops due to the strict system. As a result of this action, that family is only able to step up in society and handle society’s challenges. In this curve of life, TARYAQ presents the helping hand of HUNERTECH; an institution where practical training and job placement are guaranteed.
