Deaf Reach is an outstanding initiative in Pakistan that focuses on empowering deaf children through education. The Deaf Reach Program was established in Pakistan in 1998 to address the significant need for deaf education in the country. Deaf Reach has a growing network of 8 branches. Mr. Daniel is a Director of Operations of Deaf Reach Program. Deaf Reach aims to change this by providing a full-circle solution for the Deaf community.
Their comprehensive approach includes education, skills training, teacher development, parent training, job placement, sign language-oriented environment and community inclusion. Deaf Reach influences technology to create digital resources in Pakistan Sign Language (PSL), the language of Pakistan’s Deaf community. Deaf Reach envisions a future where education is accessible to all deaf children in Pakistan. Through collaboration with local communities, partners, donors, and volunteers, they inspire lasting change and hope.
It is a dream that encompasses entire humanity within its scope. A dream that doesn’t discriminate between color, caste, creed, nationality, status or any other identity marker.
