Indus Hospital is recognized for providing great medical services free of cost in a paperless and cashless environment. It does not have a guest counter. Indus Hospital has been serving people for the past 15 years. There is no religious discrimination here whether the patient is Muslim, Hindu, or Christian. They are serving only by erasing this difference. Dr. Abdul Bari started Indus Hospital in 2007, and the journey began with a 150-bed hospital, which has been extended to 350 beds by the grace of Allah. Now, Indus Hospital is a hospital network. Whenever a patient comes to Indus Hospital, the journey of treatment for a patient begins in a filter clinic. The patient first takes the token, and after receiving the token, a Medical Record Card (MRC) is made, and that card stays with him for life. A patient has to go through the welfare department. The welfare department decides whether patients will be dealt with in the field of zakat or donations. The ratio of 70% of patients deal with zakat, but 30% deal with donations. The purpose of the profile is to know the history of the patient. After examining patients by General Physicians, tests are free here like Blood, Urine, and related tests to diagnose the disease. A patient moves forward to a consultant clinic whether related to gastrology, urology, or cardiology. The number of patients that are facilitated by Indus Hospital is more than 500,000 monthly in the whole Indus Hospital network. Regarding tests prescribed to the patient, including Ultrasound, X-rays, CT Scan, CBS, Echo, and ECG, services are done here without charging a single rupee.

Indus Hospital is arranging classes in a school under the name of “Stars of Indus” with affiliation. This facility is provided for children who are suffering from cancer. They are facilitated accommodation and food during their stay because cancer treatment is a long healing process. When they recover and go back, their education will be updated, and a certificate will also be issued. Here, 40 plus chemotherapy can be done at the same time. A state-of-the-art play area to do activities with children, and a social department that guides the cancer is a curable disease.

The Paeds General Ward, Paeds Oncology, PICU, and HDU wards are available for children. There are 6 isolation rooms for specific diseases such as mumps and chickenpox, 3 SGOs with 6 beds each, and 6 ICUs are here. In the peads department lines of different colors are mentioned on the floors here to facilitate the illiterate patients to indicate the specific departments. Dialysis is performed here with the help of 30 dialysis machines. The services of Gynecology and Obstetrics are provided on the Sheikh Saeed campus. In the Indus Hospital network, centers are available in Karachi, Rahim Yar Khan, Badin, Lahore, and Mianwali. A great initiative which is a container clinic, boat clinic, and mobile van clinic. Primary services are provided there and they then guide and divert the patient as needed.

At the present place, the facilities are provided here with 350 beds and in a new building that number will be reached to 1350 beds and then go to 1800. A mosque (Masjid) with a capacity of 4000 and a new energy center are also constructed. At present thousands of Indus hospitals are required for the whole of Pakistan.

When it started in 2007, the budget was a hundred million rupees, and now this budget has reached up to 58 billion rupees. It is the same saying as Mr. Abdul Bari Khan that if you believe from your heart, then Allah will help you in such a way that no one even knows. May Allah grant this model to every city.
