Jamila Sultana Foundation in Chaklala Scheme 3, Rawalpindi. where advanced services are provided to thalassemic children. It was established in 2006 and at present, Colonel Tauqeer (Retd.) is the Project Director of the Jameela Sultana Foundation. They provided transfusion and laboratory facilities under one roof. It is a compulsory part that the blood of any patient who comes has to pass through all analyzing procedures. The beauty of this institution is also that employment opportunities are given to thalassemic children here. The services are very impressive, there is nothing like it anywhere for thalassemic children. The setup here is very convenient, and the staff is very cooperative and caring. Free medicines are provided to thalassemic children. All the thalassemic kids who are employed here are given special care. Any thalassemic kid who is living in the surrounding areas can be referred to Jameela Sultana Foundation (JSF). Donations are not accepted here. They are doing such beautiful work with self-help.
