Aabroo Educational Welfare Organization

Aabroo was established in January 2003 when a kind-hearted woman, Rubina Shakil, decided to restore dignity and honor to underprivileged individuals. The hopelessness of these children weighed heavily on her, prompting her to create impressive plans for their betterment. Earnings from solid waste management cover 31% of this project’s costs and support various initiatives that boost the organization.
What started as small efforts has now grown into a large-scale operation, educating over 5,000 underprivileged children, with approximately 51% being girls from nine schools. Disadvantaged children receive free education from nursery to high school, including books, uniforms, daily hot lunches, vocational training, and medical assistance. Rubina Shakil has dedicated her life to providing education and the hope of a better future for these poor and desperate children.
